Olá! My name is Susana.

I am Portuguese, a true alfacinha (from Lisbon) and the founder of the Portuguese Lab and Storyglot.

My journey began while working as an industrial designer in Germany. Learning German reignited my fascination with languages, transforming teaching and learning into my purpose.

I hold the Cambridge English Proficiency Certification (C2) and the Hoch Deutsches Sprachdiplom (C2). Additionally, I've self-taught several languages, achieving varying fluency levels in Spanish, French, Mandarin, Russian, and Korean.

I know what an emotional roller coaster learning a foreign language can be. It's a challenging yet immensely rewarding journey.
